Dr. Omotayo is an Internal Medicine physician at the Governor’s Square location.
Dr. Omotayo was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, and is the graduate of the College of Medicine at the University of Lagos. Shortly after graduation, he moved to the United Kingdom and practiced Internal Medicine for several years. In the late 90s, Dr. Omotayo moved to the United States and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. In 2001, Dr. Omotayo relocated to Tallahassee, FL, and joined Capital Health Plan. He is an advocate of evidence-based medicine and very passionate about the care and overall well-being of the community.
Dr. Omotayo is board-certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a diplomat of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He Precepted medical students at the Florida State University College of Medicine for many years and still occasionally precepts medical students.
In his spare time, Dr. Omotayo enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys travel and photography – both pursuits that have taken him to several parts of the world.
